The Team

Merlin Hills

Trainee Youth Support Worker

Merlin has joined us as our youngest member of Staff. He is enthusiastic and wants to train as a youth worker with us.

Friends of The Bungalow

The Friends of The Bungalow are an incredible network of local people, businesses, and supporters who help make our work possible.

Their ongoing generosity, time, and encouragement enable us to offer free and affordable opportunities for young people across Buckfastleigh.

By becoming a Friend of The Bungalow Youth Project, you are investing directly in young people’s futures — helping to build confidence, connection, creativity, and community leadership.

About us

At The Bungalow Youth Project, we believe every young person deserves a place where they feel safe, valued, and empowered.

We create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where young people aged 9 to 19 can learn, grow, and belong. Through a dynamic weekly programme, we provide opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop skills, and connect with their community.

This is more than just a youth space – it’s a community, a place to grow, connect, and create opportunities for the future. Whether you’re here to hang out, learn new skills, or get support, The Bungalow is yours to shape.
